Angie was lucky enough to begin receiving massage as an infant from her mother, a highly regarded indigenous healer using the ancient ways. For Angie massage was a very natural, very normal part of her childhood and later, as a young adult she decided to learn more about it. Angie became a very good massage therapist, getting her education from many sources including a serious course of anatomy, physiology, and pathology right here at Metamorfosis. Angie’s style of work is a blend including Swedish or Classic Western Massage technique with a deep, painless approach integrated with a lot of muscle stretching in an Oriental style. We call it “Angie’s Ancient Intuitive Massage” and you will love it!. Angie is bi-lingual and a native of Puerto Vallarta (a pata salada). She enjoys discovering new ways of vegetarian cooking, horseback riding and the varied nightlife of Puerto Vallarta.   Lorenzo has been a professional bodyworker since 2002 and has not slowed his education in this field since he began it. He is passionate about massage and bodywork, his chosen profession. Lorenzo has worked here at Metamorfosis on an on-call basis since completing his basic education but now, thankfully, he is with us full time.
Lorenzo is expert at Swedish or Classic Western Massage and if you want, he will give you the treatment with hot oil which is very enjoyable. His Deep Tissue Work is exceptional and effective for muscle, tendon and ligament problems. Another expertise of Lorenzo’s is Lymphatic Drainage. This is for detoxification and is good to reduce swelling of the extremities.Also available is Hot Stone Massage and Reflexology. Lorenzo is from Guadalajara but has chosen tolive here in Vallarta since 1998 and speaks Spanish and English. When he is not working you will probably find him enjoying one of our many beaches. Mr Lao Torrees was a member of the staff that opened the first spa in Puerto Vallarta 20 years ago. He does all massages and spa treatments. He is a reiki master and devotes part of his time in energizing therapies such as Reflexology, Hot Stone Therapy, Chacra Massage, Reiki Etc. She is form Michoacan "land of the monarch butterfly sanctuary" She has a lot of experience in shiatsu, reflexology, deep tissue and swedish massage.
